Skateboarding is the second fastest growing sport in the USA. The sport itself is creative, athletic and requires a highly developed skill set. The support from our community so far comes not only from the active participants themselves, but grandparents, business owners, the Police Department and the Mayor himself…
“Vero needs a safe space for our kids to skate. We are on our way!”
– Samantha Pasquini Crisafulli
“Shouldn’t be complaints on noise, you know how many kids in this area alone including my son that skateboards? It will keep the kids out of trouble and give them something to do… dozens of kids here… BUILD IT & THEY WILL COME!!!!”
– Michelle Punches-Dean
“Great to see you’ve got members of the City Council that listen to its citizens. Sending good vibes and tons of stoke your way for Tuesday’s meeting.”
– Central Florida Skatepark Alliance
“I am 53 I would rather see kids riding skateboards than be in gangs or riding the streets getting in trouble. Let’s build this park – I was on a team when I was a kid and it was fun and healthy. Add a little music for a lot of fun and every one wins.”
– Dean Dorset
“My son is 14 years old and he and his friends love to skate and ride bikes, usually they end up at our house to do tricks and just hang out, and that’s just fine with us but Vero Beach really needs to add this Skate Park so other kids as well as mine can have somewhere fun and safe to do what they do without getting in trouble or told to leave, not all kids want to spend their free/play time on the X-Box or whatever.PLEASE allow this Skate Park to be built. Thank you.”
– Rachel Haas
“Importantly, we travel to skate. Kona SP in Jax, Cocoa Beach SP, NSB, Bradenton, Naples and BUY local when we do. Skate Parks are good for local economies – hotel room nights, restaurants, local businesses. As a result, we spend our $$$ with local businesses ( particularly that support the SP).”
– PG Woods
“I can’t wait. We might see a 52 years old guy dust off the old board.”
– Bill Martinelli
